Vinted Shoppers Voice Displeasure About Sizing Changes
Vinted users have been reacting angrily following a change that caused listings displaying inaccurate size information.
The second-hand shopping app has revised its measurement guidelines for women's and children's garments without notifying every member regarding the update.

Countless users and merchants have taken to social media claiming that product pages now present an altered size classification than originally posted due to the recalibration.
Vinted explained the updated approach better aligns with other platforms.
They have suggested members to check their listings and manually change the size if necessary, which has left users frustrated.
Size Classification Modifications
Before the change, the sizes had both a single numeric size and a letter, such as S/8 or M/10.
The revised method features a letter with a size spectrum such as S/UK 8-10.
With some products, the measurements have been reclassified - such as a large size used to be a 12 but currently displays as UK 16-18.
User Stories
One content creator, who makes TikTok content about plus-size fashion, stated the update "complicates both purchasing and selling".
"Not many brands say XL is a 20-22," which is what Vinted now does.
Another user, located in Scotland, explained products she uploaded on Vinted with size 14 labels were displaying on the service as measurements 20-22.
"Should someone sized 20-22 purchase these they will likely be quite upset," she said.
Necessary Adjustments
Charlotte Lunn, located in England, stated she felt frustrated because the modification necessitated personal updates the sizes on "every single listing".
"This situation is especially annoying, since I have chronic health issues and Vinted sales have been crucial after experiencing income reduction," she explained.
Platform Context
The app has more than 100 million users, including 18 million in the UK.
It has emerged as a preferred choice to second-hand platforms like eBay and Depop.
This isn't the first time where an unanticipated change within the service has received backlash: earlier, Vinted reversed a change concerning shipment methods after backlash from users.
